I found the Dudley Castle Ghost Hunt to be great fun, historically informative, entertaining and thought provoking. One of the things I appreciated about our hosts was that there was no theatrics with people dressing up as ghosts and jumping out at you.
But as much as I enjoyed the Ghost Hunt, unfortunately I am non the wiser as to the existence of spirits.
I am reluctantly still sitting on the fence as I have not seen the evidence to make me an out and out believer, but have had enough strange experiences in my life to discount me being a full on skeptic.
But in some respects, this is a good thing. It means I can keep on hunting for evidence and have a good time into the bargain. I will keep on searching and look forward to the next opportunity to try and make contact with the spirit world!!
Interestingly, I have been on Ghost Hunts in two different castles now, Dudley and Tutbury. Surprisingly, or not as the case may be, they both have:
1. a Grey Lady
2. a Monk
3. a Soldier
4. a Little Girl
5. a Poltergeist
Dudley Castle has a ghost dog, Tutbury a cat.
Is this coincidence borne out of the very nature of the buildings they are? Or a formula for attracting ghost hunters and some valuable income? I know what I want to believe! What about you?

It would be interesting to do a study of many such attractions and see how many similarities there were. I don't know much about this, but if I was asked to guess what would be at such places, a monk and a grey lady would be high on the list.
Remaining undecided until convinced is a great attitude to have. For myself, I haven't seen a single shred of evidence or had anything personal happen to me at all, so I am pretty much decided that there are no spirits, no fairies, no ghosts, no afterlife, no angels, no god, and death is just chemical decomposition and nothingness.
But technically, I would have to go with "skeptical".
